Preparing Your Unit for Work
While some repairs—such as roofing, AC, plumbing, and electrical work—will take place throughout the project, the major exterior corrections involving balconies, stucco, and painting will be completed according to the phase schedule outlined on this site.
As your phase approaches, you should begin planning where to relocate the belongings on your balcony, patio, and around your front door. All items must be removed from these areas, including anything on the floors, rails, and walls, as well as any stored belongings such as furniture, BBQs, plants, and other personal items. Anything left in place will impact our ability to test, inspect, clean, repair, and paint.
Having a completely empty balcony is critical to this process. While we are working to minimize the time you will be without access to your balcony, you should plan on not using it for at least 2–3 weeks. Depending on the repairs required, the duration may be longer. You may use your balcony outside of working hours (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
The following guidelines will be posted on your unit approximately two weeks before your phase’s work is scheduled to begin.
Resident Requirements
- All items must be removed from your balcony, patio and around your front door, including floors, rails, walls and any stored belongings, furniture, BBQs, plants, etc.
- Keep windows closed during construction activities.
- Except for weekends, balcony access will continue to be restricted during the process.
- Removal of security doorbells and cameras (e.g., Ring doorbells/cameras) is also recommended as workers will not be responsible for unintentional damage. If they are not removed, they will be masked (covered) similarly to windows and lights.
What to Expect
- Workers will be using mobile boom lifts and ladders adjacent to your building and will be present on the second story and above while work is in progress.
- Please continue to use caution when entering or exiting your unit, as workers and equipment may be present.
- For additional privacy, we recommend keeping blinds or shades closed during working hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
Parking & Garage Access
- If you plan to enter or exit your unit between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, please park your vehicle outside of your garage during these hours.
- Garages will remain accessible before 8:00 AM and after 5:00 PM.
Cooperation
- Your full cooperation is essential to avoid delays and to allow the construction team to complete the project within the planned schedule.
Safety Reminder
- Please exercise caution at all times around the construction zone.
- If you require assistance, or if equipment is blocking access to your unit, please contact the following:
